“Me personally? I do get quite a bit more business. Ponies like something warm all, not just in the mornings to get started. So it’s pretty nice to see the Cafe a hustle and bustle with ponyfolk and other creatures. Summers are also very good to the cafe too! That’s when Citrus Tang’s customers pick up considerable since she makes all the cool drinks and soda blends herself. Even in the chill I wouldn’t mind having one of her orange cream smoothies!”

“We too! We have a glass shelf in the counter dedicated to the baked goods and snacks section. We don’t really have an open kitchen or anything, but we have wonderful little sandwiches, various bread with flavors, and muffins of course! Sugar cube corner is actually one of my biggest suppliers! We have a bit of business deal, they’ll share their muffins so long as I share my coffee and tea, hehe! So I’m both advertising their business and helping them profit.”

“The easiest way to spruce up a drink? Well okay, this is something I personally like to do. Works best with warm drinks or any drinks with foamy tops. I always like to dash on some chocolate shavings! They blend easy with just about any drink and they’re delicious when they melt the moment they touch your tongue. And.. oh my.. Uhm.. Well..” Mocha stammers, trying to swallow the growing lump in her throat, “T..thank you, both of you!” She lifts a hoof in an attempt to cover her blush.

“Oh well.. Ahem. Sweet Memo is my little sister, she is also the mother to Citrus Tang. She has always been very precious to me, I would do nothing to see her hurt or upset. We use to spend all our time together growing up, as I mentioned before I wasn’t so great with learning new magic tricks past skilled levitation. But Memo? She was wonderful at it. She loved writing down new ideas of spells and incantations. Our mother couldn’t be more pleased - especially since she’s a professor at the Canterlot university! To see one of her girls bringing home new and spectacular information to display at the school? It’s really wonderful. Memo has even gotten an award. I’m really proud of her. She’s smart, talented, and even has a family…”

Mocha gave a slight sigh before shaking her head, “Oh uhm, yeah that’s my little sis! She’s really brilliant. She’s never stopped by in ponyville to see the cafe, not that I blame her. I sort of moved away just after her marriage… She was starting a new life, I wanted to do the same. We just lost track of time until she and her husband wanting to go on a new excavation for the university and needed someone to look out for Tang. And of course I agreed to it, she’s my one and only niece and I didn’t get to see her as a wee little thing, I figured this could be my way to make up for lost time. I still don’t hear from them to much other than the casual quick chats about how Tang is doing, she really seems wrapped up in her exciting world, but they both… both of them seem fine and I couldn’t be happier.” She stretches a smile.

“I guess I get some requests that would be considered strange. But they’re all still polite and usually quite sweet.”

“And hugs? Why I’m always up for a nice hug! Sure, why not~”

“Why of course dear, you you go! I used a tea cup shaped mug for the delicate look as I painted pretty petals all around it! I filled it creamy hot chocolate, three jumbo marshmallows sprinkled in mint~ And here’s a complimentary peppermint candy cane to stir it with! Just to add a kick of flavor. I hope you like it!”

“Sure! I didn’t use to sell them before, just had them out as gifts. Someone offered to buy one and I’ve just been making them ever since! They’re nothing fancy, but it’s nice to have something made just for you I think.”
